Spot the subtle signs of stress

Not every puppy bounds into the clinic full of confidence. Some are naturally cautious, others may be overwhelmed by new sights, smells and sounds. In this course, you’ll learn how to recognise the often-overlooked signals of stress and anxiety - from the 'ladder of communication' to the Four F’s - so you can intervene early and prevent negative experiences.

Understand the 'why' behind anxiety

Genetics, past experiences, and gaps in socialisation all play a role in how puppies respond to the world. By understanding these underlying factors, you’ll be better equipped to explain to puppy parents why their pup might be struggling - without blame or judgment - and guide them towards the right next steps.
